What you will do as an IAM Professional:
Understand our clients’ current systems and business process needs as they relate to their IAM controls and policies.
Install, configure and customize IAM software to deliver solutions that satisfy our clients’ identity management requirements: securing the identities of large numbers of employees, customers or IoT devices.
Conduct in-depth technical analysis to solve IAM challenges and optimize outcomes for client deployments.
Share IAM expertise/unbiased advice with clients and act as a trusted advisor to solidify successful, long-term relationships.
Provide guidance, support and mentorship to team members.
Contribute innovation and challenge the status quo.

About you - what you bring to the role:
You have the ability to work in Canada or USA. With the majority of our clients and industry conferences being based in the US, Canadian citizenship would be an asset.
You have 2+ years of experience in programming (JAVA, JAVA script, python, Groovy).
You have a broad overview of core IAM concepts: authentication, authorization, roles, rules, provisioning, and all other aspects of identity are second nature.
You understand the foundational technologies of IAM including Active Directory, LDAP, and SQL databases.
You have a keen interest in and knowledge of information security and privacy.
You are familiar with command-line, shell scripting, java tuning or server configuration and you have experience with Linux.
You have understanding of web API technologies e.g. REST, and tools e.g. cURL, Postman.
You have broad understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Additional assets:
You have a post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or other with a major in Information Technology.
You are as comfortable writing Java as you are writing scripts in Python, Groovy, or JavaScript.
You have an understanding of how to implement OAuth2 or SAML flows both with mobile and web applications.
Strong knowledge of Java, Java Based Applications, JS, Groovy, Microservices.
You have DevOps or DevSecOps experience.
You have experience working in an Agile environment and have used JIRA, Scrum, Kanban.
You have knowledge of Application Servers (e.g. Apache Tomcat), Databases (e.g. Oracle, MySQL), and LDAP (e.g. OpenDJ, OpenLDAP).
Good knowledge of version controlling such as GIT or BitBucket.
You are skilled at writing technical designs as well as use and test-case documentation.
